No class at all!

Phil has never been known for his tact, his modesty or his tendancy to think before he speaks.

He's focused on this game and wanted to beat Norton? Well good, who can blame him, he's a coach, that has been a team that has had the better of him lately, he should be focused and wanting to beat them. I wouldn't want a coach who didn't.

In the heat of the moment or immediately after, people sometimes say/do things they regret.

Should he do better? Should he know better? Absolutely, but come on, he's been there how long, and hasn't changed, why does anybody expect him to now.

<span style='font-size: 20pt'> </span> Norton Fans before you decide to keep talking and showing ignorance how about reading the original post the very first one and you will see that this is not directed to "all" norton fans.

<span style='font-size: 8pt'> </span> Now with that said im going to state some more facts here... Im not going to defend coach robbins or what he did or did not say or do. But i will clarify somethings. Yankeefanz4life: you commented that phil said "go ahead and get another runner up and get off my field" should these things have been said.. Of course not! But let me give you a bit of insite, imeditally after the game before the handshakes there was a norton fan that ran onto the field and started waving a towel in the face of several powell valley players. And phil imeditally apprehended the person only for 2 burton coaches to come to the person's resque, which phil shoved him to. I can tell you right there was the maddest i have ever seen Coach Robbins he was beside himself, yes im sure he offended you and well that sucks but the truth is he was protecting his players and doing a hell of a job to stop a all out brawl between the fans and teams.

I have stated before yes we have people at pv who runs their mouth after game and when im present to the situation i personaly appologize at that moment for their ignorance. The facts are this people... 2 years ago burton fans got into a fight with pound fans at a peanut footall game. (im under the impression from a few of my friends from norton that the two team no longer play for this reason.) Last year fans storm the field during the state football game and gets into the face of the officals, and then this year we have the situation at bulliet park. This thread is not about "Who is the class of the lpd". It is an attemt to get the attention of the True Norton Fans and Boosters to hopefully change the way you are seen, not only by the lpd but also by the entire state.

Seems to be a trend with Burton fans.

You all can't take Burton beating your Vikes at the park huh? Both teams played a great game, but the better team won. Every team has fans that act ignorant no matter where you are. Now for the state game, put yourself in that situation and see how you would react to that situation. Having a chance at a title taken away due to a call....you would be mad too, especially playing a school almost 3 times your size. Quit trying to play this off like Burton fans are classless and are the worst. Especially after all the late hit calls on PV....Burton parents are sure to be upset.Good game Raiders!

I don't know what happened but that is ridiculous how fans act over high school games.

You can say what you will but your history will preseed you. All i have stated above is true... and can't be said for any other team in the lpd to my knowledge. Quit staring thru "orange colored glasses" and see the forest and the trees.

Congratulations to Burton's team and staff on the win friday night. And also Congratualations to Burton and Powell Valley for should be deemed the game of this decade.

I want to see how PV would of acted if they would of won? Say what you want but all that matters is 30-26. Good game to both teams!
